Featuring a mix of Hollywood favorites, independent film and foreign language cinema that is bound to satiate anyone's taste in film, the Metro Cinemas is located in Seattle's University District, just around the corner from the Seven Gables Theatre. Opened in 1989, the Metro was the first ten-screen theatre in the Seattle area. Espresso and pastries are served at the Cinebar upstairs, where you can sit and relax before or after your show. Above the Cinebar, while enjoying a coffee, you can peer into the inner workings of the ten-platter projection booth through a glass wall.
